Gevasol Group has signed an agreement to acquire Opgal, a leader in thermal imaging and electro-optical systems. The transaction will take effect on August 1, 2025.
Opgal brings over 40 years of experience in optical gas imaging (OGI), thermography, and gas leak detection.
Its solutions utilize specialized hardware, advanced algorithms, and proprietary software, and are deployed in over 60 countries worldwide.
The acquisition marks a strategic step in expanding Gevasol’s technological capabilities.
By integrating Opgal’s expertise in electro-optics, the group will expand its abilities and create new opportunities for innovation in its companies.
Opgal’s team will join Gevasol as a fully owned subsidiary. A transition process is underway to ensure continuity and alignment.
